Michael Moores Capatilism film definitely opened my eyes a little bit. Its sad that the ones that are in power have no remorse for the middle class, and truly can care less about them.
Then again it is easy to criticize moore and other commercial successful artist because they are hypocritical at some level. Especially moore, being a profound director, has earned some decent money off several films. So it may simply be appealing that he looks like the average guy wearing average clothes. At times the movie is emotional and a little raw but it is the hard truth. But you also cant let the emotions and lack of interviewing those in charge sway you. Yes we may be middle class as well, but most of us want to be rich too. We don't know the other half of the story. Regardless of the fact, the government and head honchos of these big companies can care less about the middle class.
Jose--You have good topics and ideas for your new entries, but you continue to be too brief. You need to slow down and develop your points more. Dig into analysis to create significance for your audience. Build context to pull them in. Leave them with a thoughtful ending. Engage further with stronger visual appeal.
